As we begin the 2026–27 year, I am incredibly excited about the future of EBMI and the opportunities that lie ahead for our organization. This promises to be a landmark year, highlighted by our upcoming Expo and several strategic initiatives designed to strengthen and grow our association.
As we look forward, I would also like to recognize and express our sincere appreciation for Annie and the tremendous contributions she has made to EBMI over the years. Her dedication, and countless efforts have helped shape the success of our organization. We are fortunate that Annie continues to lend her expertise and guidance, particularly as we coordinate and prepare for another outstanding Expo. Her knowledge and support remain invaluable to the team. Education is the foundation of EBMI and continues to be one of my greatest focus areas and a key priority. I am committed to ensuring that our courses and training programs remain relevant, timely, and delivered by highly qualified instructors who bring real-world experience and expertise to the classroom. Our industry is constantly evolving, and it is essential that EBMI continues to provide educational opportunities that equip members with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. We are also thrilled to welcome new members to the EBMI community and expand our reach throughout Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois. Over the coming year, we will be exploring new opportunities to serve members in growing markets, including the Columbia and Cape Girardeau, Missouri region, and additional areas across Illinois. Expanding our presence allows us to connect with more professionals, broaden our impact, and strengthen the value of membership across the region. The year ahead is full of opportunity, and I am honored to serve as Chairperson during this exciting time. Together, we will continue building on the strong foundation of EBMI while embracing innovation, growth, and new possibilities for our members. We are saddened by the passing of Sarge Ball and offer our heartfelt condolences to all who knew them.

The 75th Annual Holiday Mixer will bring together members, industry partners, and friends for an afternoon of networking, celebration, and community impact.
