Golf Tournament Rules & Weather Policy Notice

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable tournament experience for all participants, please review the following important rules and policies regarding weather and course conditions:

Weather Policy

  • Rain alone does NOT constitute cancellation of the tournament.
  • Play will continue unless the golf course is officially closed by course management.

Authority to Close the Course

  • The General Manager and Director of Golf of Forest Park Arcis Golf are the only individuals authorized to officially close the golf course.

Communication of Closure

  • In the event of a course closure:
    • The individual who registered the foursome (the “Captain”) will be notified using the email and/or phone number provided during registration.
    • Participants may also call:
      • Pro Shop: 314-367-1337, Ext. 2
      • Questions about Play: Ext. 229

Tournament Completion Guidelines

  • The tournament will be considered officially completedif:
    • 9 holes have been played, OR
    • 2.5 hours of play have been completed by all participants

Weather-Related Interruption / Closure

  • If severe weather or other circumstances beyond the control of course management require closure of the facility during play:
    • The above completion guidelines will determine whether the tournament is final.

Rescheduling Policy

  • If Forest Park Arcis Golf cancels the tournament before 9 holes (or 2.5 hours) are completed:
    • The tournament will be rescheduled.
    • All registered attendees’ Captains will be notified of the new date.

Shamble/Best Ball Format – Teams compete for team prizes, keeping the day fun and competitive.

Special Events – Unique challenges throughout the course add excitement and bragging rights!

After golf, join us for dinner and awards, where we present:

Charity Hole – Giving Back Our EBMI Veterans committee organize a charity hole to raise funds for their incredible work supporting veterans at the VA Hospital. These donations could help fund bingo nights, movie nights, and an annual BBQ for veterans and their families.
