EXPERIENCE: David is a recognized expert in electrical safety, NFPA 70E compliance, arc flash prevention, and lockout/tagout training.
COURSE OVERVIEW: This four-hour course examines electrical safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements under the 2027 NFPA 70E and OSHA standards. Through practical, real-world examples, participants will explore de-energization, arc-flash and shock labeling, hazard assessment, PPE selection, employer responsibilities, and procedures for establishing and verifying an electrically safe work condition. The course also addresses simple and complex LOTO, shift changes, emergency lock removal, documentation, and auditing requirements.
